DID YOU KNOW? We created a whole animated series for middle school-aged kids to teach them fun facts about our Catholic faith AND to help them understand the Mass!

Teachers told us they wanted to show these animations in classrooms and Vacation Bible School, but the vertical format didn’t work well on big screens. So we listened.

This singalong is a part of our Songs of the Saints series, which lets you encounter different saints. Each video opens with the Song of the Saints book. As you enter this book, you enter into a special moment in the life of a saint.

In this video, we see Joseph turn to prayer and pauses to find peace in a moment of exhaustion. He lovingly shares Mary's Magnificat, the sacred prayer that Mary proclaimed during her visitation with Elizabeth. We’d love to re-introduce you to Carlo’s voice, Alan Hewitt. He has a beautiful voice and we are so blessed to have worked with him on this project.

Who is Alan Hewitt, aka “Carlo Acutis”?

Alan Hewitt is a filmmaker in Los Angeles, California. He attended John Paul the Great Catholic University where he made multiple short films, acted in several film and theater productions, and received a Bachelor of Science in Film Production in Directing. When one of his former classmates told him about this opportunity to be part of Songs with the Saints, he was thrilled to learn more and lend his gifts to this creative endeavor. Getting to know Blessed Carlo’s zest for life and love for the Eucharist has been such a blessing for Alan, and bringing him to life through song has appealed to his love of musical theater. He is excited to help share the power of faith and prayer with children, and hopes this project instills in people everywhere an enthusiasm for a full and holy life.

Something surprising happened recently.

I had been handing out these little Catholic prayer cards (see below) that link to our animated prayer videos. One of the people I handed them to decided to make a donation on the spot to print more AND referred me to his guy for printing. Thank you, Lord!
