How Faith Shaped Our New Brand Colors (and What They Represent)
Every color in our new palette tells a deeper story of love, light, and the Holy Spirit — here’s how we chose them and why they matter.
🎨 DID YOU KNOW?! Every color in our branding tells a story!
Every little detail of our new branding — from the logo to the color choices — has been intentional! We had a lot of fun discerning what colors to use going forward.
From Lindsey, our creative director:
”Magenta represents the color of the soul's love for God. It is both warm and cool — not quite red, which represents the Passion and blood, which is the perfect love of God. But the love of the human soul, aiming for perfect holiness through the help of Mary (represented in the blue undertones).
“Orange represents the flame of the Holy Spirit, who breathes the breath of God's holy fire through us when we receive Him.
“Gold represents the light of the Sun/Son who shines on creation, bringing us life-energy and truth. The same gold reflected in holy objects that contain the Blessed Sacrament.”
Here’s a breakdown of the Meaning Behind the Color Palette
💗 Magenta — it’s the soul’s LOVE for God...reaching for holiness with a little help from Mary. 💙
🧡 Orange — the FIRE of the Holy Spirit... sparking life and joy in us!
💛 Gold — the LIGHT of Christ... shining truth and life everywhere.
And our flame? 🔥 We thought it would be red... or maybe blue... 🤔
Then one day at Mass, something happened that completely changed our minds.
From Trevor, founder of Claritas Studios
“Every morning when I go to daily Mass, I love to say hello to Mary as I enter the church. It’s a simple moment, but one that brings me peace. One day, during the time we were working on the logo design, something inn that daily routine caught my eye… a candle glowing inside a purple glass holder.
“These candles had always been there, but I never really noticed the color or thought much about it before. We had originally been designing the logo with a red, then considered a blue one. But that magenta glow felt perfect for us. I brought the idea to the team and they loved it! And so, Magenta became the color of our flame. Thank you, Mary.”
