We’d love to re-introduce you to Carlo’s voice, Alan Hewitt. He has a beautiful voice and we are so blessed to have worked with him on this project.
Who is Alan Hewitt, aka “Carlo Acutis”?
Alan Hewitt is a filmmaker in Los Angeles, California. He attended John Paul the Great Catholic University where he made multiple short films, acted in several film and theater productions, and received a Bachelor of Science in Film Production in Directing. When one of his former classmates told him about this opportunity to be part of Songs with the Saints, he was thrilled to learn more and lend his gifts to this creative endeavor. Getting to know Blessed Carlo’s zest for life and love for the Eucharist has been such a blessing for Alan, and bringing him to life through song has appealed to his love of musical theater. He is excited to help share the power of faith and prayer with children, and hopes this project instills in people everywhere an enthusiasm for a full and holy life.

About our Songs of the Saints series
This singalong is a part of our Songs of the Saints series, which lets you encounter different saints. Each video opens with the Song of the Saints book. As you enter this book, you enter into a special moment in the life of a saint.
In this video, we see Carlo turn to prayer when he hits a snag in his website. He turns to one of his favorite saints, Saint Francis. Follow along in song as Carlo prays the famous Prayer of Peace!
