St. Bernard, the Patron Saint of Beekeepers
St. Bernard of Clairvaux (1090–1153) was a monk from France, theologian, and preacher. He was known for his deep love of God and devotion to Mary. He was called the "honey-tongued doctor" for his wonderful preaching and for founding many montaseries. His feast day is celebrated on August 20, and he is the patron saint of beekeepers!
We hope this new artwork helps remind you that holiness isn’t just for a few extraordinary people in the past. It’s something every one of us is called to!
