Meet the Voice of Joseph from Joseph: Light of Patriarchs
Did you hear the news? Our long-awaited animated musical short Joseph: Light of Patriarchs released last week! We are so grateful for your prayers and thrilled by all the positive feedback.
Today, we’re excited to introduce you to the wonderful Robert Bigley, the voice behind Saint Joseph.
Robert Bigley has been seen around the country on stage and screen, most recently as Walter Hobbs in Elf the Musical at the MGM Beau Rivage, and as Duncan Hines in the current season of The Food that Built America on the History Channel. Favorite regional theatre credits include Titanic (Ismay), Amazing Grace (Captain Newton), Footloose the Musical (Rev. Shaw), Jekyll and Hyde (Sir Danvers), and Disney’s Little Mermaid (King Triton).
Robert holds degrees from the University of Miami, Eastman School of Music, and University of Washington. He was a music and theatre professor for over a quarter century before jumping into acting full-time.
As a follower of Christ, Robert is always eager to put his acting and singing skills toward the work of the Kingdom. When he was given the chance to portray St. Joseph, the earthly father of his Savior, he jumped at the opportunity!
As a husband, and as a father of three amazing kids himself, Robert can relate to Joseph's desire to protect his little family - no matter the cost - and is inspired by Joseph's humble obedience to God in the midst of unimaginably difficult circumstances.
