Yes, I actually unscrewed a TV from my wall to show an animation. Here’s why it mattered.
Behind the booth: the frantic, joyful logistics of exhibiting at Catholic Answers. Plus something NEW!
Hi, it’s Trevor here.
I removed the TV from the wall, wrapped it in a tablecloth, and tucked it into the trunk. It felt like a low budget heist movie, except nothing was stolen. That TV however, made quite a difference.
At the Catholic Answers vendor hall I claimed a plug, rolled the TV into place, and turned the tablecloth from the TV wrap to our booth backdrop.
It was worth it!
This TV captured the attention of parents, kids, catechists, and more!
“How can I watch these?”
“They are free!?”
“The artwork is so good!”
And, one of the top questions I always get is, “Do you produce the videos yourself?”
The answer is always no. I work with very talented people to bring every animation to life. It requires talented writers, artists, voice actors, singers, musicians, animators, and more to make these animated short films.
Bulk Prayer Cards
I wanted to make sure people could easily find what they saw on that TV, so I handed out prayer cards that also include a QR code to the animations.
This way they can enjoy, learn more about the prayer, and sing along.
Although these cards are geared towards kids, the adults were very grateful to receive the Act of Contrition prayer cards to help them through confession.
Several teachers asked me for bulk pricing on the spot.
So now, we have something new!
Check out these prayer cards in our shop.
You don’t have to find me at the next conference, you can order our prayer cards for your class here!
Saint Joseph Stickers and Merch!
The stickers from our Saint Joseph animation were also a hit! Although some of the items were conference exclusive, you can order St Joseph stickers and merch here!
Something New!
Lastly, at the Catholic Answers conference, I was able to demo a project that we have started working on recently.
This is brand new!
Two of our animators worked hard to have this out in time for the conference. Josh Martin, whose work you may be familiar with from our Giggles and Grace show, put together this wonderful draft for a Pope John Paul II prayer card.
It’s not even finished, and people were already asking to buy it.
You can say it was well received.
But, there is more to this card than meets the eye. While Josh made the card design, Bridget put together a 3d model of Pope John Paul II skiing! So, using augmented reality technology, you can look at the card through a phone to see the pope in action.
Folks were amazed and excited to see these come to completion.
Our idea is to create these prayer cards where you can see something fun or interesting about each saint. Or maybe the saint can say the prayer along with you. Or maybe something else. We want to help families connect closer with the saints.

P.S. If you’d like to support the creation of future animated shorts, you can do so below! Every gift helps us bring more faith-filled stories to life and gives me more to show on that TV at the next conference.
Love it! ha!
